FET-Exempt Customers

You can identify customers who are exempt from paying federal excise tax by completing a setting on the Customer Maintenance screen. The setting, which is available in TireMaster 9.4.0, is the No FET checkbox.

When the check box is selected for a customer, an item’s federal excise tax is excluded when that item is added to the customer’s work order. Furthermore, when the checkbox is selected, TireMaster will also prevent you from changing the FET amount on the customer’s work order from $0.00 to another value.
