Adding and Editing Inventory Groups

Inventory groups provide an alternative means of organizing information on your reports. Tires, services, warranties, disposals, and batteries are all examples of inventory groups.

To add or update an inventory group

1.       From the Inventory menu, select Categories & Groups. The Inventory Category/Group List appears.

2.       Select Groups.

3.       Do one of the following:

  • To create a new group, click Add.

  • To update an existing group, select it and click Edit.

The Inventory Group Edit screen appears.

4.       Type a name for the group and make sure the Active check box is selected.

5.       To save the new or updated group, click OK.

6.       Close the Inventory Category/Group List.
