Updating a Customer’s Tax Level

If a customer’s tax status changes or if you need to correct an error, you can change the customer’s tax level.

To update a customer’s tax level

1.       Look up the customer whose tax level you need to change. The Customer Maintenance screen appears. For more information, see Looking Up a Customer.

2.       Make sure the General tab is selected, and click Edit.

3.       Click the Type - Parts field, and press keyAcctTilde00001.jpg. Then select a new tax level and click OK.

4.       Click the Labor field, and press keyAcctTilde00002.jpg. Then select a new tax level and click OK.

5.       To save your changes and exit the Customer Maintenance screen, click OK.
