Deleting a General Ledger Account

If you’ve never used a general ledger account, you can delete it from the Chart of Accounts.

Note: If an account can’t be deleted, you can inactivate it. For more information, see Inactivating a General Ledger Account.

To delete a general ledger account, open the Chart of Accounts screen. Then select the account you want to remove, and click Delete.
